I’m doing a series of tribal skulls, like the traditional Ancestor and war trophy skulls of tribes like the Dayak, Asmat, Ifugao & Naga.
I start with a first generation resin casting of a real human skull. Then I hand carved the patterns, and remove the teeth and weather the skull. Painted with acrylics, and this one I added cowry shells to the eye's. Skull measures 8" tall x 5" wide x 7.5" Deep. |
